Rescu. have done the pavement pounding for you and checked out a
couple of collections due to hit stores this July that you won’t want
to miss out on.
Hussy’s Metamorphosis 1st Summer 2010/11
Hussy’s spring
is looking hotter than ever, featuring a palette inspired by the
bright, symmetrical patterns of a butterfly’s wings that is a
refreshing change from more traditional floral prints. Deep purples and
turquoise assert themselves while flat blacks and greys are made
exciting with stunning shapes. Asymmetrical cuts are back in full swing
and Hussy is pulling off the one-shoulder trend with grace.
Attention-grabbing hints of shoulder and cut-outs around the
décolletage make oversize pieces just revealing enough. You can also
expect drapery and perfect layering to soften the silhouette, adding a
touch of romance and whimsy to the collection. Bold accessories make a
statement with chunky wedges, killer sandals, studded detailing and
intricate belts.
Rescu. Recommends:
Swallow tail Dress Monarch Print, Chrysalis Mini Wedge Pewter. (pictured left)
We are loving this butterfly print in earthy colours and the
on-trend one shoulder.
Teamed with the super cute mini wedge, this
outfit will help you heat up spring.

Cute detailing makes this LBD something special. The shredded shoulders and zips make an old favorite edgy and new. Silver detailed flats finish off the effortless look.
White Verve’s Desert Rose Spring 2010
White Verve
are a new label on the Sydney scene and we are eagerly awaiting their
first collection Desert Rose. The brand’s founder, David Harris, and
designer Maria Maung, boast easy shapes with beautiful fabrics in a
collection that will take you from day to night. The harsh desert’s
influence on the collection is instantly identifiable in the colour
palette, which features vivacious peach, fuchsia, and teal alongside
easy pastels, army green, black and marl grey. The contradictions in
this collection are perfectly executed including tough pants teamed
with pretty cami’s and soft silk or jersey armoured with bead and
knotted detailing.
Rescu. Recommends:

Zulu Maxi Dress (left)
A printed maxi is just what you need for spring. The Zulu makes maxi
sexy with a backless cut and beautiful detailing. Beware not to go
overboard with accessories in this one – it speaks volumes alone.

Using beautiful colours and fabrics with a classic shape, this dress is
perfect for the warmer days of spring or, teamed with a clean-cut
jacket could make the transition into a cooler night.
Each of these collections has an easy, lived-in feel with layers and drapery made perfect for the unpredictable spring weather.
