Sometimes less truly is more. A statement hair design and relaxed, layered silhouettes called for something understated in the make-up at Alexander Wang’s Spring 2011 Ready-to-Wear show.
As MAC make-up artist Diane Kendal said, “The look is all about the downtown art scene – the hair is quite complex so we decided to keep the face really fresh and young.”
The eyes were completely bare with bleached-out brows to create an unearthly appearance.
The face was all about the bare necessities – MAC Studio Moisture for a fresh, dewy look and a moisture cover concealer to cover imperfections and under-eye shadows.
The look was finished with lip conditioned which was patted and blotted onto the lips for a clean finished. This simple look perfectly complemented Alexander Wang’s collection that surprised us all by showing not one hint of black.
