Nicole Kidman may have landed the role of a life-time in Grace Kelly, legendary screen icon and the Tumblr world will never be the same as pop superstar Beyonce Knowles has now joined the blogosphere.
Nicole Kidman has beaten out practically all the top actresses in Hollywood to score the highly coveted role of icon, Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco in the up coming film, Grace of Monaco.
The film will detail the actress’ life between December 1961 and November 1962, at the peak of her career where Kelly has had two children, won an Oscar for her performance in A Country Girl, married Prince Rainier III and had a Hermés bag named after her. The movie will centre around when the Princess of Monaco helped stop a coup in the city-state over Monaco’s status as a French tax haven
Kidman, who is quite the screen chameleon and Oscar winner herself, has had a few hits and misses in recent years leaving us to speculate whether Kidman will be as radiant on screen as Grace Kelly was.
Oliver Dahan will direct “Grace of Monaco,” the man who was behind “La Vie en Rose,” which won Marion Cotillard the Best Actress trophy in 2008.
