President Obama has dissed Taylor Swift, Beyonce’s crazy tour requests have been revealed, and Kelly Osbourne causes a stir in Sydney.

Mere months ago Taylor Swift referred to the constant stream of jokes about her love life as, “frankly a little sexist” but Barack Obama didn’t seem to get the memo.
At the White House Correspondents Dinner, the US President dissed the 23-year-old and her tumultuous love life. In reference to, of all things, the recent round of budget cuts, Obama said, “Republicans fell in love with it. Now they can’t stop talking about how much they hate it. It’s like we’re trapped in a Taylor Swift album.”
This was far from the only celebrity reference in his speech, the president also made reference to Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s controversial Cuba trip, saying, “It’s unbelieveable. I got 99 problems and now Jay-Z is one” and Oprah’s phenomenal riches, saying, “$100 million? That’s Oprah money!”
We get it Obama – you’re just like the rest of us – but maybe this is pop-culture-reference overkill?
Beyoncé’s risque on-stage costume recently attracted attention world-wide and now The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour is making headlines again, but this time it’s for the star’s backstage antics.
Queen Bey’s tour rider has been exposed and it rivals Mariah Carey in the crazy factor. An insider told The FIX, “The Single Ladies singer forked out $900 for titanium straws, which will be used to drink a special alkaline water that’s served at exactly 21 degrees.”
Think that’s a little excessive? It’s only the beginning…
According to the source, the star demand her crew wear only 100 per cent pure cotton, and insists upon plain off-white walls in her dressing rooms, a new toilet seat at every event, a hand-carved ice-ball to suck after every performance, and will only use red toilet paper.
The insider said Bey is, “Working so hard and with the toll the travel takes on her body in addition to the intense shows, she feels that her requests aren’t too much to ask for as she wants to ensure everything goes to plan.”
Don’t get us wrong, we can totally appreciate that going on a tour of that magnitude would be exhausting, but red toilet paper? Seriously?
Kelly Osbourne has been in Sydney since the weekend and has lived up to her reputation as being a little unpredictable thanks to a few headline-making incidents…
First there was the now-infamous rant against The Star after which Miss Osbourne quickly changed her tune, taking to Twitter to say, “Thank you #StarCasino for being so accommodating & dealing with last nights drama so graciously!”
Then radio duo Kyle and Jackie O quizzed Osbourne on the just-won’t-die rumours of her engagement to Matthew Mosshart to which she replied “I’m not telling you guys anything. When I have a ring on my finger, then you’ll know I’m engaged.”
The pair may not be engaged but they did seem closer than ever at The Star’s Cherry Bar last night where an Alex Perry – clad Kelly O was the guest of honour for CLEO’s re-launch party.
And finally, a reporter from The Daily Telegraph has revealed that Osbourne lashed him, saying, “You are trying to f-ing turn this around and get shit on my family, aren’t you?”
No word from Kelly yet but between her father’s recent drug relapse and her parent’s divorce, we can see why she might be on the defensive.
All we can say is we hope Kelly is coping with all the drama in her life, we’re happy to see her in what seems to be a great relationship and, of course, that she continues to rock Alex Perry frocks!
