Orlando Bloom Opens Up About Miranda Kerr Separation
Katie Couric interviewed the actor about how he and Miranda are holding up during this turbulent time.
“We love each other. We’re a family, and we’re going to be in each other’s lives for the rest of our lives,” he told Katie.
This seems to be true, with the couple spotted strolling the streets with their two-year-old son Flynn— even sharing a hug and a kiss at one stage!
“Life sometimes doesn’t work out exactly as we plan or hope for, but we’re adults and professionals, and we love and care about each other— and most of all, we love our son,” Orlando said.
“There’s no question that for the sake of our son and everything else, we’re going to support one another and love each other as parents to Flynn,” he continued.
The pair have been separated for several months— it’s great to see a celebrity couple remaining friends after splitting!

Kyle and Jackie O Tune Out
Infamous radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O have called it quits on their 2Day FM breakfast show.
The announcement was made on the station’s website, and confirmed by the pair on air this morning, telling listeners that they’re “excited about the next chapter.”
This will probably come as welcome news to the myriad individuals the pair have offended over the eight year run of their show.
From encouraging a fourteen year old girl to confess on air whilst strapped to a lie detector to being raped at twelve, to suggesting Magda Szubanski should be put in a concentration camp to lose weight, the duo have had no end of controversy associated with their show.
Other memorable moments include Kyle labelling a female journalist “a fat slag,” for not liking his television program, and calling a police officer who issued him a speeding ticket on his way to work, “scum.”
Neither Kyle nor Jackie O have revealed what their plans are for the future, but a statement from the station confirmed their parting was “mutual.”
Kyle is about to wrap up this season of Australia’s Got Talent on which he is a judge, and Jackie O is busy raising her child.
The show will end when all radio stations go on Christmas break at the end of the year, with their last show being on Friday November 29th.
It will leave open their position dominating the Sydney market, where they have been #1 for six years, and 50 consecutive surveys.
There is no word yet as to who will be replacing Kyle and Jackie O, with a statement from the station saying that their “focus will now turn towards developing a fantastic new show for 2014.”
We wonder what’s next for this dastardly duo!
Katy Perry Was Hit On By Mick Jagger
If Mick Jagger were to hit on you, what would you do?
According to Katy Perry, she was put into that exact situation when she was eighteen years old and a back-up singer for the rock legend.
Katy told Brisbane’s Nova radio station that she was at dinner with Mick, who began to hit on her.
How did she get out of it?
“You bring a friend and then they do them,” she quipped, “You sacrifice your friend.”
Katy says it was a long time ago, and she has since performed on stage with him and made his acquaintance.
However, Mick’s camp has been quick to shoot down the claims, saying that Katy must be confused with someone else— although we’re not so sure how many ageing rock stars would have been trying to seduce Katy at the age of eighteen.
We’ve never met Mick ourselves, but we’re pretty certain that if he were to hit on us, there would be no mistaking him for somebody else!
