The one we have all been waiting for, the night of nights is here. The 86th Academy Awards offered a Red Carpet that was certainly sparkling with stunning gowns and so much beauty!
Black seemed to be a popular frock colour this year, a shade we often don’t see on the Red Carpet as it often lacks that ‘pop’ that bold colours give. Surprisingly those ladies wearing darker shades shone like diamonds with stunning silhouettes giving shape and elegance to all.
Beauty lived up to the ‘Oscars’ standard this Red Carpet. Wine lips and deep shading in the inner eye area was a big trend and nude, warm tones were used most for eyes and cheeks.
Most ladies opted for a semi-matte foundation finish, but all had a beautiful light effect above the cheekbones to really lift and light up each makeup look.
