Victoria’s Secret After Party
Wednesday night in New York City saw TAO nightclub bursting at the seams with Angels as the much-anticipated Victoria’s Secret 2013 show came to an end and the models let their incredibly voluminous hair down.
Although the big names, like Karlie Kloss, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Candice Swanepoel definitely had more on than they did on the runway, the pink carpet saw its fair share of flesh-baring ensembles.
Karlie Kloss wore a shoulder-baring, white Cushnie et Ochs dress with a strategic cut-outs, which seemed to be a theme of the night! Kloss was spotted on the carpet with Toni Garrn who is said to be Leonardo DiCaprio’s latest squeeze. Leo, a serial modeliser, was naturally in attendance on the night.
Alessandra Ambrosio wore a red leather dress from Anthony Vaccarello’s Spring 2014 collection that featured a plunging neckline and, you guessed it, cut-outs! Candice Swanepoel, who was the woman of the hour as the Fantasy Bra wearer in the show, also opted for the plunging-neckline-and-cut-outs combo.
Angels aside, the party saw a plethora of celebs — including Fall Out Boy (who performed during the show), Ciara, and Stephen Dorff amongst others.
With the show and the party said and done for another year, we’re sure there will be more than a few Angels indulging in a little chocolate…
People Sexiest Man Alive 2013
Each and every year People Magazine release their Sexiest Man Alive list, and each and every year the media and the public is divided into two camps — those who so totally agree, and those who so totally do not.
It’s still one week until the official sexiest man alive announcement is made in the annual SMA issue, but rumours are flying about the guy to take the prize… and the decision is already the cause of controversy.
The man in question is none other than Maroon 5 front man, US The Voice judge, and VS model Behati Prinsloo’s fiancé Adam Levine.
If the rumours are true, Levine will become the first ever singer to be named People’s Sexiest Man Alive and will take the crown from Channing Tatum.
Shockingly, Ryan Gosling has never been awarded the title, and many had him pegged to take out the prize this year. Then again, 2013 hasn’t exactly been as huge for Gosling as the past two were, so it would be odd timing for People who suffered much public abuse after snubbing him in 2011.
But nothing is confirmed until we see who adorns the cover of the People Sexiest Man Alive issue in the US on the 20th of November!
Jena Malone’s $43 Event Dress
The stars of Hunger Games: Catching Fire have been making their way around the world to premiere and promote the new film and there have been plenty of incredible (and incredibly expensive) frocks on show.
One of the stars, however, opted not for couture, but instead for a $43 ASOS dress!
Jena Malone, who plays Johanna Mason in the film, arrived at the London photo call in the skin-tight, red number and showed that sometimes less really is as good as more.
The 28-year-old’s star is on the rise and set for big things in the coming years. Here’s hoping her low-key approach to Hollywood events sticks around!
