Cult nail polish brand OPI is set to make a statement on the catwalk at Rosemont Australian Fashion Week.
On day one Hopelessly in Love by OPI was worn by Lisa Ho models at the New South Wales Art Gallery, whilst Ginger & Smart chose Tickle My France-y by OPI, as models glided down the runway at Overseas Passenger terminal.
OPI’s Do You Lilac It, glitter and sparkled at Rachel Gilbert before Bassike offered a relaxed beach vibe helped along by OPI’s Coney Island Cotton Candy,
The trend for Spring and Summer nail lacquers include cool nude tones with a feminine hint of peach (Coney Island Cotton Candy) or pink (Hopelessly in love) combined with romantic shades of lilac (Do You Lilac It) and creamy mushroom (Tickle My France-y).
Other Spring and Summer trends to be featured in future designer shows, such as Camilla & Marc, Zimmerman and Dion Lee, will include; metallic (mother of pearl, silver, gold and shimmery shades), bold Spanish red and pastels.
As make- up is left minimalistic and natural and hair swept back or free flowing, beautiful nails are so far making a statement at Rosemont Australian Fashion week.
