On Sunday night (US time) Kanye West broke the news that him and girlfriend Kim Kardashian are expecting their first child while he was performing in Atlantic City and shortly following, the Kardashian siblings took to Twitter to share their excitement over the news. We find out how the newly pregnant couple spent New Year’s Eve and how some other stars brought in the New Year.
2012 ended on a high note for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West with the couple announcing their pregnancy so the couple took to Vegas to celebrate.
Wearing a fitter black Julien Macdonald dress that showed off a hint of her baby bump, Kim told the crowd at the New Year’s party she was hosting at Mirage’s 1 OAK, “I wish I could share a drink with you all, but I can’t for a little while.”
When the clock struck midnight Kim and Kanye shared a very passionate and very public kiss and from then on the pair were inseperable.
Meanwhile Kanye’s friend Jay-Z s rang in 2013 with a performance at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn. Friend Chris Martin from Coldplay also performed and invited wife Gwyneth, daughter Apple and her friend on stage during his performance. After the gig, the celebs and their friends reportedly drank up a storm including a specially delivered 30-litre bottle of champagne at was more than 4 feet tall and weighed 100kg!
Nicki Minaj welcomed in 2013 in Vegas as well, hosting a party at PURE Nightclub. Wearing a tight gold dress, platforms, and a blonde wig, the star arrived just after 11.30pm to the delight of fans and performed hits Starships and Moment 4 Life just after 1am.
