Denmark’s Princess Mary has finally revealed the name of her twins after the beautiful babies were christened yesterday. Closer to home, Dita Von Teese has just signed a deal with Lime Door Brands and will be launching a line of lingerie here in Australia later this year. Finally, as promised, we’ll be bringing you an update on the Royal Wedding!
Princess of Denmark Mary Christens Twins and Announces Names
It is Danish tradition to keep the name of a new baby under wraps until the christening and Princess Mary has managed to keep the secret since the birth of her twins, one boy and one girl, on January 8.
Finally, after the royal christening yesterday, the babies names have been publicised. Mary’s adorable babies were christened with four names: Prince Vincent Frederik Minik Alexandre and Princess Josephine Sofia Ivalu Mathilda. They join Prince Christian, five and Princess Isabella, whose fourth birthday is next week.
The ceremony was broadcast live for all of Denmark to watch and Princess Mary looked stunning as always in a bright blue dress. Her babies all looked absolutely angelic and extremely healthy.
Dita Von Tease Teaser
Australia’s Lime Door Brands has signed a global deal with burleque beauty Dita Von Teese that will see the two collaborating on a number of brands.
First off the bat is a line of lingerie and other undergarments in sizes ranging from extra-small to plus-sizes. This lingerie is sure to be something special given Dita Von Teese’s love of luxe items.
Of the collection the fashion icon said, “I love lingerie that fits well and is also beautiful, bringing function together with glamour and sensuality. I am especially excited to be designing lingerie with a vast sizing range so that women of all shapes and sizes can have a beautiful, sensual lingerie wardrobe that suits their body type.”
We love Dita Von Teese’s philosophy when it comes to sexy undergarments. She believes, “indulging in elegant lingerie isn’t about the seduction of another person, it’s about seducing yourself first and embracing womanhood and femininity.”
Pre-wedding jitters for the bride-to-be and Seinfeld lashes out at the royals
Prince William has previously admitted to pre-wedding jitters and now Kate has confirmed she, too, is nervous about the big day. While the couple were touring northern England on Monday, a Blackburn local asked Middleton if she was feeling nervous to which Kate replied, “Yes, of course I am!”
We don’t blame her. With an estimated two billion TV viewers around the world and a wedding party of royals to impress, butterflies are expected!
Jerry Seinfeld has come out and publicised his less-than-supportive view of the royal wedding. During an interview on British TV, the comedian replied to a question asking if he was looking forward to the wedding with, “Yes, I’m very excited. Well, it’s a circus act, it’s an absurd circus act.” He went on to say, “You know it’s a dress up. It’s a classic English thing of let’s play dress up. These aren’t special people—it’s fake outfits, fake phoney hats and gowns.” We’re sure this enraged a few Brits!
