The make-up Maestro Napoleon Perdis shares his secrets for a simple, every day look that radiates femininity and glamour; as seen at Sabatini White.
At Sabatini White, it was all about a certain laid-back glamour. I kept the skin fresh, the eyes neutral and matte and the lips creamy. It’s all anchored by a definitive brow—this girl might be wearing a wispy dress but she means business.
The inspiration was designer Margi Milich’s feminine aesthetic. Brooke Shield’s brows, matte skin and NP Set San Francisco lipstick, for that very kind of neutral, very feminine, very soft, very empowered all over look.
I just love Sabatini White’s soft fabrics, the knits are quite beautiful, I love the fact that they’ve shown in Paris and now they’re showing here. I love the fact that they’re New Zealand, and Australian; which is great. I just love the designers!
The best thing about this look is that absolutely every single human being on the planet can pull it off. Its very simple, very clean, very easy to do and anyone can do it.
How to recreate the look:
1. Prepare the skin with Auto Pilot Napoleon complex skin renewal serum, followed by the Auto Pilot Pre-foundation Primer.
2. For a base, conceal blemishes with a Pro-Palette concealer, wherever needed. Top with Boudoir Mist spray Foundation for a fresh face. Then very lightly powder the t-zone with Camera finish.
3. With the eyes, first apply Mesmer-eyes Mascara. Then pat Prismatic Eyeshadow Quad #4 in nude all over the entire lid. To complete the eyes, sweep a blend of Prismatic Eyeshadow Quad #4 in tan and taupe through the socket.
4. Finish the look with a strong brow that can be achieved with China Doll eyeliner.
