Rosemount Australian Fashion Week is finally here, and the air is abuzz with hype for the return of Napoleon Perdis to Australian Runways! So with no further delay, Rescu. brings you exclusive backstage info straight from the Master of Make-up himself!
My inspiration for this look was Camilla’s collection. Camilla’s clothes are unabashedly feminine, with vivacious prints and billowing fabrics. This season, inspired by Avatar among other things, she wanted to go wild with the makeup.
There are five main looks and the focus is all on the eyes so we created exaggerated circles of colour around the models’ eyes`—not the kind of type you would wear at an interview admittedly.
Camilla is all about Babylon and escapism and actually finding your fantasy. The make-up looks we have are Atlantis, Fluoro Pandora, pastel, tribal and an ethereal 60s inspired look, all of it being a focus on the eyes. It’s quite spectacular. It’s going to look great on the stage for Camilla; it will give the models an incredible silhouette.
This look will appear amazing on anyone; it’s just all about having fun fun fun!
How to recreate this look at home:
1. For the base I have used Auto Pilot Napoleon Complex Skin Renewal Serum
2. I then applied Napoleon Auto-Pilot Primer
3. Choose which look you love as inspiration and play up your eyes to about 20% of the colour we’ve done here at Camilla, for an every day look.
4. Finish off the look with a touch of pro-palette concealer on the lips.
