Redken Hair Director Jon Pulitano created a statement look that was full of movement and bounce for the RSFF Review 7 and 8 shows.Backstage, Jon said “the look really evokes a sense of relaxed glamour and beautifully ties in each of the designers’ collections. The mid-lengths were curled to give plenty of boost with lots of volume and movement with the roots and ends kept straight for an unkempt, slightly less polished result.”
We love this look for effortless glamour and the best bit is it’s super easy to achieve.
How to recreate the look:
1. To achieve volume, texture and body, spray Redken Rootful 06 to the roots, lengths and ends of clean, dry hair.
Then layer in Redken Body Full Instant Bodifier to re-wet the hair and make it more workable with extra hold and volume. Blow dry in.
2. Using a large curling tong, begin at the back and curl the entire head of hair, leaving the ends uncurled. After each curl, pin to scalp and leave to cool.
For the top lengths, only curl the sections to eye level, keeping the lengths of either side of the centre parting quite flat.
3. Once cool, release curls and gently loosen them with your fingers or a soft bristle brush.
4. Finish with Redken Workforce 09 for a flexible hold.
