Reese Witherspoon’s Pink Pavement Pound
‘Legally Blonde’ star Reese Witherspoon joined thousands of others for the eighth annual Avon Walk for Breast Cancer over the weekend. The event saw Witherspoon going above and beyond her duties as Avon’s global ambassador by putting on her walking shoes and pounding the pavements in New York.
In its entity, the walk is a huge 63 kilometres so we imagine Reese is resting her feet today.Last year Avon walks raised a huge $9.1 million and it’s expected this year’s earnings will be a close match.
James Franco for Gucci
Gucci have just launched a bespoke service in 11 boutiques worldwide. Those who take advantage of the fabulous new service will have 178 possible combinations of colours and fabrics to choose from and, after a six week wait, will have a suit that fits them perfectly.
In the stunning campaign titled ‘All the World’s a Stage’, the 127 Hours star poses in what looks like a movie set shrouded in smoke. Shot by Nathaniel Goldberg at a huge Rman film studio called Cinecitta, it pays tribute to old-world glamour and reminds us of a world where made-to-measure suits were the norm for the rich and fabulous.
Gucci creative director Frida Giannini said of the star, “James has an innate ability to fuse classic elegance with contemporary style and interpret formalwear in an individual way.”
We love this campaign and the new service but, really, we’re happy for any reason to post more pictures of Franco!
Stars Go Green
The Enivornmental Media Awards were held in Burbank, California to celebrate stars who fight for the planet.
Justin Timberlake was awarded the Futures Award for his commitment to clean living and recent activism. The 30-year-old took to the stage and joked, “I like a lot of green things like nature and money and things like Ketmit the Frog, golf greens, Al Green, hell–I even love Seth Green. I like all sorts of green herbs, some of which I take with medical prescription. It’s legal! Uh, green tea. That’s what I was referring to. Green tea.”
Nicole Richie, Kim Raver, Amy Smart, Darryl Hannah and Aubrey Plaza were just some of the stars to strut down the green carpet on the night, all there to show their support for the environment and celebrate those who make an effort to save the planet.
Beyonce’s Love on Top Video
It’s highly unusal for a singer to release two videos so quickly but less than two weeks since Beyonce let the clip for Countdown out, she’s released her ‘Love on Top’ clip!
The new release shows the gorgeous Beyonce fronting a group of all-male backup dancers with dance moves that resemble that of an 80’s boyband. She wears a black leotard with sneakers and a hat and later changes into an impressive suit.
But enough from us, watch it for yourself below!
