The look at the Morrissey show was “all about glam” according to Kate Squires, National Creative Team Leader for Napoleon Perdis. She explains how to get this seductive look.
Kate says, “The eye was really strongly contoured with browns, bronzes and little black. It was a really modern eye technique, the contour on the top of the eye goes from outer corner straight to the corner of the nose. The trend with this kind of look has been around for a little while in the fashion work and although it is a strong look, it can definitely inspire street looks. It is quite a strong contoured look, but all the colours used on face are quite warm, which still kept it modern.”
Kate explains the look was created:
To create the Eyes, we used Colour Disc #39 brown, Ultra Pearl #33 Walnut, China Doll liner in Equinox, and Mesmerise mascara. With Mesmerise mascara, we used the small comb first, then used the thicker side to jiggle the product at the bottom and didn’t take through to the tip as it would have loaded up the ends of the lashes with too much product.
Lips – For the nude lips, we mixed NP Set Lipstick in Washington with a tiny bit of Chine Doll eyeliner in Alabaster, which is completely white. Together it gives you a beige nude lip with no pink in it whatsoever.
