RSFF Review show 5 was without doubt a highlight from Fashion Festival, as an impressive array of new talent walked the runway.
The designers on show included Alice McCall, Bec & Bridge, Dhini, Flannel, Karla Spetic, Lucette, Magdalena Velevska, Miss Unkon, Phos Phoro, Ruby Smallbone and Sara Phillips.
Sara Phillips is leading the way into summer with fresh tones, nudes and creams. We loved this easy to wear colour palette that was flirted through blazers, high waisted shorts and cute mini dresses. Sara Phillips played with the latest top trend- the crop top, and paired it with high waisted shorts for a look that is bound to prove popular over the warmer months.
Alice McCall is definitely a leader of the fashion pack, and she proved herself at RSFF with her sexy body con dresses and soft floating fabrics in a set colour palette of nude and cream (topped off with stunning beaded and sequinned embroidery!) Skirt hemlines were draped and featured whimsical prints, whilst office-wearable collared shirts were finished off with elongated side hems.
Karla Spetic is a new star on the rise, and her latest collection blew the audience away with bold fun prints worked into the ever trendy nude and cream tones for spring and summer. Sky blue featured strikingly in a power shoulder blazer with matching high waisted pants, whilst outback and vast roads were printed onto singlets and blazers, adding that well known touch of signature style that Karla is becoming quickly known her.
We couldn’t get enough of the latest collection from Dhini, featuring must have geometric prints in deep purple and black, and topped off with beautifully draped skirt lines. Dhini added in touches of whites and nudes, but it was refreshing to see some darker colours placed into an otherwise neutral coloured runway show.
