Redken hair director Tracey Hughes said, “We’ve created four fantastic looks for the show, all with contrasting textures and distinct finishes to highlight the flowing, vivid colours and graphic patterns from the collection.”
While some models wore wild, crimped, down styles, others had tight and low set buns which were adorned with Pandora-inspired sculptures and intricate braiding. The contrast between the looks was incredible and worked perfectly with Camilla’s unique collection.
How to recreate the down style look:
1. Double-mouse the hair with Redken Touch Control 05 to help build loads of volume, grip andtexture into the roots, lengths and ends. Blow dry in.
2. Achieve different textures by crimping random sections of hair with traditional crimpers andothers with a zig zag pattern.
To create the pattern, make U-shapes out of metal coat hangers and wrap the hair around the wire using a figure-8 motion. Clamp each of the wrapped sections with straightening irons. Spray hair with Redken Spray Starch 15 to set and allow to cool.
3. Gently remove the wires. Relax crimped sections by flipping the hair over and brushing it with a soft bristle brush.
4. Tease the hair at the roots for extra height. Finish with a generous spray of Redken Forceful 23 for a strong hold and maximum volume.
