If you thought the ‘Hey girl’ quips had run their course — think again. The slogan has taken on a whole new adorable meaning as Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have welcomed a daughter to the world!
And if your reaction to this news was, “Already?!” — you’re not alone. It feels as though the news of Eva Mendes pregnancy only just broke, it’s because it sort of did. The 40-year-old star managed to conceal her growing bump for far longer than most celebs and only announced she was expecting in July this year when she was apparently already seven months along.
Us Weekly were the first to break the news, confirming that the genetically-blessed couple, who have been in an on-again, off-again relationship since 2011, welcomed their baby girl to the world on Friday September 12.
We certainly won’t be holding our breaths for a baby sighting just yet — during the pregnancy Eva held a very low profile with a source telling People, “Their lives completely changed as soon as Eva got pregnant. They used to travel all over the place together and go on hikes with their dogs. [But in the past few months] she has barely left the house.”
Although the mini-Gos is less than a week old and hasn’t even had her name publically announced yet, she already has a parody Twitter, @GoslingsBaby, where one fan has been coming up with some truly hilarious one-liners as well as a few not-so hilarious attempts.
