Ryan Gosling Eva Mendes Break Up
Christmas has come early for Ryan Gosling fans (ie everyone ever) with the news that the mega-hunk and his girlfriend of two years, Eva Mendes, are calling it quits.
Radar Online reports that the pair have decided to take a break from one another because things were moving too fast. A source said, “There was a realization before Thanksgiving that they took things way too fast and were rushing toward a marriage that neither of them particularly needed. They’ve decided to take a break to re-evaluate their romance.”
The source continued to share that it was Gosling, 33, who felt unsure about their future together while the older Mendes, 39, “wanted to have his babies.”
And in news that will make every awkward ex run-in you’ve ever had seem like child’s play; the pair are going to be forced to spend a lot of time together in the new year to promote Gosling’s directorial debut, How to Catch a Monster, in which Eva is the star. The source shares, “They both know they need some kind of resolution in their relationship before they go out and promote their movie, in which Ryan directed Eva in a very big part. At the end of the day they are both uncertain about their future.”
Prince William and Kate Middleton to Visit Australia
It was all the way back in July that Prince William revealed plans to visit Australia, and now we finally have confirmation from Kensington Palace that Prince William and Kate Middleton will be visiting Australia in 2014.
The royal favourites are expected to arrive in Australia after a short stop off in New Zealand in April. It’s unsure yet whether the Prince George will be with them, the Palace announced, “it is anticipated that Prince George will accompany their Royal Highnesses but a decision will be made in due course.”
Sbould the littlest Prince visit, he will be eight months old — just one month younger than when Prince William himself headed to our shores for the first time with Prince Charles and Princess Diana in 1983.
The royals have chosen a tour down under because of the many links the family have with Australia, including that Prince Charles was schooled in Victoria.
We’re sure this visit is going to be the subject of much fanfare and, frankly, we can hardly wait! Bring on 2014.
Selena Gomez Cancels Tour
And while one celeb announces a visit, another cancels theirs!
Much to the dismay of tweens across Australia, Selena Gomez has suddenly and totally unexpectedly cancelled her February tour. The reason? To spend some time on herself… seriously.
The star’s statement read, “My fans are so important to me and I would never want to disappoint them. But it has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be. To my fans, I sincerely apologise and I hope you guys know how much each and every one of you mean to me.”
The slightly-dodgy excuse had many wondering whether it was all down to poor ticket sales, but insiders have assured all was on track in that department.
And despite that Gomez, 21, has thus far avoided the rehab spells of her fellow Disney starlets, her last public appearance did see her uncharacteristically swear, storm off stage, and cut a set short all because of a microphone failure, so speculation is rife that Gomez could be going through some personal problems. If that’s the case, cancelling her tour here and in Asia seems like a good call.
