The annual World Travel Rewards are often regarded as the Oscars of the travel industry. We look to them for direction on where to get the best of the best in both product and service. This year, the prestigious awards were held in New Delhi on the 14th of October.
Rescu. wellness experts, Six Senses showed the world what we already knew by winning no less than 5 huge awards including Asia’s Leading Resort Brand. This award is highly regarded across the travel industry with travel professionals voting for the prize winners. 
Six Senses were also awarded the following:
- Asia’s Leading Honeymoon Resort – Six Senses Samui, Thailand
- Thailand’s Leading Resort – Evason Hua Hin, Thailand
- Vietnam’s Leading Resort – Evason Ana Mandara, Nha Trang, Vietnam
- Vietnam’s Leading Spa Resort – Evason Ana Mandara, Nha Trang, Vietnam
Chairman and CEO of the Six Senses Resorts and Spas, Sonu Shivdasani, was unable to collect the awards as he was in the Maldives celebrating the Soneca Fushi resort’s 15th anniversary.
Along with this is news of the Six Senses Destination Spa Phuket being re-launched as the Six Senses Sanctuary Phuket. This new name for the spa captures its core purpose of delivering integrated wellness experiences along with peace, tranquility, fitness and wellbeing. Six Senses goes beyond the usual health spa experience by providing guests with education and practical tools so they can make sustainable changes towards a healthier lifestyle beyond the walls of the spa.
