The wedding of the year is almost upon us – Prince William and Kate Middleton will marry on April 29th in the stunning Westminter Abbey and while we can’t all be there for the special occasion, we can wear the official wedding fragrance!
Royal perfumer Floris London created ‘Wedding Bouquet’ especially for the royal wedding. A gorgeous, floral fragrance featuring lily of the valley, jasmine, orange blossom and stephanotis as the key notes, with sandalwood and musk added in to create a warmer, softer base.

We at Rescu. have been thinking about the fragrances we would recommend to various members of royalty. Here’s what we’ve come up with:
Prince William – Burberry, The Beat for Men
For the groom-to-be, this scent begins with woody and earthy notes of leatherwood and the deeper scent of vetiver. A spicy hit of pepper and hints of fresh violet leaves follow, developing into a modern, fresh and very British fragrance!

Kate Middleton – Burberry, Brit EDP
For Kate we’ve chosen a gorgeous gourmand (ie. good enough to eat!) fragrance that lasts all day on the skin. Starting with a green burst of lime and pear, the scent evolves into a creamy, sweet scent with notes of almond, tonka beans, mahogany, vanilla and amber. Perfect for everyday!

Prince Harry – Polo Ralph Lauren, Big Pony No.1
The scent we’ve picked for the younger of Prince Charles’ two sons reflects the prince’s sporty side through the freshness of lime and grapefruit, while the oak base note grounds the scent, making it perfect for any day occasion.

Princesses Beatrice & Eugenie – Marc Jacobs, Lola & Daisy Eau So Fresh
They may not be in the spotlight as much as their cousins William and Harry, but Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie know a thing or two about style.
Our fragrance pick for Beatrice is Marc Jacobs’ Lola. Starting with fruity notes of pear d’anjou and ruby red grapefruit mixed with pink peppercorn, Lola develops into a warm floral, with a heart of rose, geranium and fuchsia peony. A base of vanilla, tonka bean and creamy musk ensures Lola stays warm and close to the skin.
For Eugenie, we’ve gone with the new Daisy Eau So Fresh, a fruity-floral with notes of ruby red grapefruit, raspberry, green leaves and pear. More delicate notes of violet, wild rose, apple blossom, lychee and jasmine petals follow, with a creamy base of plum, musk and cedarwood lingering on the skin.

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark – Serge Lutens, Sa Majesté la Rose
She may not have been born into royalty, but Princess Mary has blossomed into a regal future queen. Crisp notes of Moroccan rose and lychee blend perfectly with green geranium, blue camomile and smoky gaiac wood to create a gorgeous floral fragrance for ladies who radiate femininity.

Crown Prince Frederik – Tom Ford, Grey Vetiver
The scent we’ve chosen for the heir to the Danish throne begins quite fresh, with notes of grapefruit, orange flower and sage. It then develops into a warm, earthy fragrance with orris, nutmeg and amber, transforming the scent into an elegant men’s fragrance.

Charlotte Casiraghi – Gucci, Guilty
The fragrance we’ve chosen for Charlotte, fourth in line for the throne of Monaco, is a fruity and spicy combination of mandarin, pink pepper and peach that blends perfectly with a floral heart of lilac and geranium. Followed by a warm, seductive amber and patchouli mix, it’s a striking, feminine scent for a girl who knows what she wants in life!

Princess Letizia of Spain – Giorgio Armani, Idole d’Armani
For this Spanish princess, we have chosen a complex, spicy-floral. Balancing fresh and warm with notes of clementine, pear, ginger, Egyptian jasmine, Turkish rose, patchouli and vetiver, Idole d’Armani is ideal for any occasion, day or night.

Queen Rania of Jordan – Jo Malone, Pomegranate Noir
For the always stunning Queen Rania, we went with fruity notes of pomegranate, raspberry and plum blended with an earthy base of patchouli, spicy woods and frankincense. Pomegranate Noir is a scent that mixes eastern and western aromas with modern, feminine style.
