Guerlain, the venerable cosmetics company, has teamed up with Emilio Pucci to produce a psychedelic and gorgeous line of fashion-inspired cosmetics.
Pucci is best-known for its amazing prints – a Pucci scarf or minidress in swirling prints was the accessory of the 70s, and it’s continued to be one of the best-known high-fashion brands. The collaboration with Guerlain looks like an experiment – perhaps Pucci is researching its own cosmetics line, and wants to test the waters first.
We predict it will do very well indeed. All the palettes are in Pucci’s signature bright-wash colours, a Miami sort of spectrum from shocking pink to aqua blue, and Rescu. loves the covers, which are a sea-print designed specially for the line.
The line comprises a full cosmetics set – blushes, eyeshadows, eyeliners, nail polishes and lip glosses, with vivid red and blue ribbons attached. They’re available to order at Sephora online.
