So You Think You Can Dance Australia Cast

paula-abdul-sytycdSo You Think You Can Dance is making a much-anticipated comeback to Australia next year, and now we have word on who will be involved in the reality show revamp, and it’s shaping up to be a killer season!

Carrie Bickmore, co-host of The Project, has been confirmed as the host of the show, much to the delight of, well, just about everyone! Bickmore has proven herself time and time again as the perfect host — bubbly, kind, intelligent, and completely loveable.

But the biggest announcement comes from the judging table  — US singer and choreographer Paula Abdul has been confirmed as a judge for the show! Abdul has had one seriously impressive career; her sales have exceeded the 60 million mark, and she’s won two Emmy Awards for her choreography, in addition to a Grammy, seven MTV Video Awards, two People’s Choice Awards, and three American Music Awards.

Abdul will join choreographer Jason Gilkison, one-time Tag Dog Aaron Cash, and entertainer Shannon Holtzapffel in rating the dancer’s performances each week.

So You Think You Can Dance Australia is set to return in 2014 and will air on Network Ten.

Caulfield Cup: Fashion on the Field

lara-bingle-caulfield-cupOver the weekend, celebrities headed to Caulfield in Melbourne for the 2013 BMW Caulfield Cup — one of the biggest events on the Spring Racing calendar.
Caulfield is one of the rare Spring Racing events that has no dress code, so the stars were able to show their true colours, and we saw everything under the sun, from bold brights, to black, to pastels.

Lara Bingle caused a whole lot of head-turning in a very low-cut pantsuit by Victoria Beckham which featured cape-like sleeves. The blue-eyed blonde, who is currently dating Sam Worthington, toned down the outfit a little with a black Alice band and understated makeup.

Rebecca Judd was in stark contrast to Bingle’s all-black ensemble, showing off her growing baby bump in a bold and bright Alex Perry dress.

Meanwhile, Jessica Gomes wore a stunning Camilla and Marc dress and simple head piece by Suzy O’Rourke. Fellow David Jones ambassador Montana Cox was also in Camilla and Marc and looked a little Grecian goddess in a strapless gold frock. Megan Gale rounded out the David Jones representation in an animal print frock, and simple hat.

Super Fan Undergoes $100k Surgery to Look Like Justin Bieber

When we recently heard about Lindsay Lohan’s little sister undergoing serious surgery to look like her sister, we thought the craziest plastic surgery news of 2013 was said and done. Turns out we spoke to soon…

Over the weekend news that a fan (understatement of the year) of Justin Bieber spent an enormous $100, 000 on plastic surgery to look like his idol. The man in question, Tony Sheldon, is a 33-year-old LA-based songwriter who has undergone five years worth of surgery including Botox, Aquamid injections, and a hair transplant to get the look he is after.

Sheldon told British tabloid Closer about the extreme transformation, saying, “It’s Justin’s smile that gives him his youthful look,” and going on to explain this was the reason behind his latest surgery — a $15,000 smile surgery — which he said, “took more than a month to recover from.”

Was it worth it? You decide…
