Spring is finally blossoming and with it comes racing season. The spotlight will shine in Sydney from September 13th to October 18th at Rosehill Gardens and Royal Randwick along with unsurpassable fashion, hospitality and entertainment over a series of events.

Sydney
De Bortoli Wines Golden Rose Day at Rosehill Gardens– September 13th
Traditionally a day out for the lads, the opening day commemorating the first of serious racing now also celebrates the ladies. Roving musicians and the Emeri Pamper Lounge will provide a perfect Carnival backdrop for Sydney’s best dressed women to compete in the Style Stakes competition, with a $15,000 prize pool. Nova’s VIP trackside party also boasts hospitality and a DJ.
George Main Stakes Day at Royal Randwick– September 20th
The first day of Sydney’s Spring Carnival at the world class venue Royal Randwick. Clinique launches its spring pamper sessions with the Clinique pamper lounge and new members bar ‘The Stables’ is sure to impress.
PJ’s Irish Pub Golden Pendant Day at Rosehill Gardens- September 27th
Western Sydney’s famous track shares its day with the AFL Grand Final, making it the ultimate sporting day out. The day features a number of activities for the lads on course, whilst ladies are invited to attend a special Ladies Long Lunch.
The Star Epsom Day at Royal Randwick– October 4th
Sydney’s social set will be seen at one of the many glamorous hospitality marquees that will grace Royal Randwick on this premier carnival day. This is Sydney’s highlight race day for the Sydney Spring Carnival, showcasing three major stakes races.
Moët & Chandon Spring Champion Stakes Day– October 11th
The glamour day of spring carnival, held at Royal Randwick. If your idea of a day at the races is more time enjoying champagne induced frivolity than lining up at the betting box, than this is the day for you with a full schedule of fashion, famous faces and the state final for the Myer Fashions on the Field. Supported by Vogue Australia, there is a $100,000 prize pool and the winner receives flights from Emirates along with entry to the Australian national final to be held In Melbourne on Oaks Day.
City Tattersalls Club Cup Day–18th October
Sydney Spring Carnival will wrap up with the ultimate party day at Royal Randwick. It marks the official first birthday celebration of the Queen Elizabeth II Grandstand and will feature birthday festivities for all race-goers, including a performance by Ricki-Lee Coulter. Coinciding with Melbourne’s Caulfield Cup, a host of entertainment and pop up bars will celebrate the end of the Sydney Spring Carnival as the baton is passed to Melbourne.

18th October-The Caulfield Cup
Melbourne’s iconic event boasts the Chadstone Fashion Stakes (headpieces mandatory for entry), a performance from DJ Havana brown and all guests are invited to the front lawn for a special guest performance singing the national anthem. This years Style Ambassador for the Caufiled Cup is the beautiful Nicole Warne-see her journey in the stunning video below.
Darby Day-1st November
Considered by many to be the most prestigious day of the Melbourne Cup Carnival, all the action and excitement starts with high racing stakes. The fashion stakes are equally high with the commencement of the Myer Fashions on the Field competition for women and men.
Melbourne Cup Day-November 4th
Finally, the focal point of the Melbourne Cup Carnival. The greatest thoroughbreds from around the world battle it out for a chance at the $6.2 million in prize money and to cement their names into history. It is also the day to make your strongest fashion statement with an exotic or outrageous ensemble as the Myer Fashions on the Field competition continues at the east end of the front lawn.
