Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal have been enjoying their time in Sydney after Monday’s premiere of the new film Love and Other Drugs
The pair looked as stunning as ever on the red carpet with Hathaway in a gorgeous Oscar de la Renta long sleeve, gold sequin dress and Jimmy Choo heels. Her hair and makeup was kept soft and pretty in an elegant up-do. Taylor Swift’s latest squeeze, Jake Gyllenhaal looked divine in a dark suit and grey shirt and tie. The two flirted and joked on the red carpet, mimicking the on-screen chemistry they are said to display in the film.
Before the premiere, the stars soaked up Sydney’s good weather on a harbour boat ride. Anne has also been taking in some of the art scene with a visit to the Museum of Contemporary Art’s Annie Leibovitz exhibition and Sydney Theatre Company’s production of Uncle Vanya starring Cate Blanchett.
Meanwhile, Oprah’s private jet is on its way to the Hamilton Islands after stopping in Cairns for re-fuelling. The queen of talk shows has kept the details of her arrival secret but she is expected to arrive in Airlie Beach later today to join her American audience who arrived in Sydney yesterday and stayed in the InterContinental Hotel. The audience, a group of 302, will then be split up to embark on the ultimate Aussie adventure, soaking up landscapes such as the Great Barrier Reef, the Daintree, Hunter Valley wine regions and the Blue Mountains.
It’s set to be a big week for Oprah fans that will end in the explosive final show at Sydney’s Opera House on Tuesday the 14th of December.
