For Karl Lagerfeld’s show, “the inspiration was the texture of the latex and the violet red in the collection to create a girl who’s strong, powerful and luxurious”, said MAC make-up artist Emmanuel Sammartino.
M•A•C products used to create this look:
Eyes:
1. Eye Shadow in Handwritten was blended up from the lash line to wash over the lids, both top and bottom.
2. Eye Shadow in Notoriety was applied from the lid to the crease of the eye to form, a halo of colour that also works subtly into the lower lashes.
4. Brow Set in Clear was brushed through the brows.
Face:
1. Face and Body Foundation was used for a sheer base.
2. Studio Sculpt Concealer was applied where needed.
3. Cream Colour Base in Vintage Rose was applied with the fingers to flush the cheeks.
4. Invisible Set Powder was used to ‘mattify’ the t zone.
Lips:
1. Lipstick in Lady Danger was brushed onto the lips.
2. Lipglass in Clear was applied “on top – a lot of gloss – very strong shiny lips”.
