The 19-year-old beauty has signed a contract with Victoria’s Secret – famous for its elaborate underwear – despite only having previously walked one runway for the brand.
Victoria’s Secret has long been known for picking the most glamorous and beautiful women to don wings for its extravagant shows, with Miranda Kerr – who was voted the Most Beautiful Person of 2012 earlier this year – among those famed for their connection with the brand.
Despite the glamorous surroundings, Miranda – who has 15-month-old son Flynn with hubby Orlando Bloom – claims she is keener on motherhood and loves spending time with her child.
She said, ”I want to spend as much time with Flynn as I can, and I’d want to put a lot of energy into him.
”He’s the most beautiful thing, the best thing that’s ever happened to me. It’s wonderful.
”I’d say what makes me happy is having this little man. I’m the happiest when I’m surrounded by those I love and we are in a natural environment.
”It’s the best thing I’ve ever done. Becoming a mother puts everything into perspective. You become more comfortable in your own skin.”
The ’21’ actress, whose dad, Harold Bosworth, is a former executive for Talbots and Ermenegildo Zegna, says he was always telling her what to wear when she was growing up but it’s only now she appreciates his tips.
She said, ”He’s a former executive at Ermenegildo Zegna. I remember him telling me when I was at school that classic style won’t ever go out of fashion. At the time I thought, ‘You don’t know anything!’
”He was very right and I still appreciate his advice now.”
Kate also says she is a huge fan of London fashion as everything is so inspirational.
She told Britain’s Company magazine, ”It’s not so crazy that it’s unrelatable, but there’s something that’s always inspiring. My best friend and business partner Cher [Coulter] came out of [London’s] Central Saint Martins – there are so many talented people who come out of that school, it’s incredibly impressive.”
The 29-year-old beauty is such a fashion fan, she regularly has clear-outs of her clothes because she has so many.
She said, ”I’ll give the things I haven’t worn or I’m not going to wear again to charity. I try not to hold on to things too preciously.”
