Sydney was treated to one of the most lavish wedding ceremonies of the year as it witnessed the union of top shoe designer, Terry Biviano and rugby league star, Anthony Minichiello.
Biviano and Minichiello held their nuptials at St Mary’s Cathedral where the pews were draped with elegant arrangements of white roses and ivy.
The stylish bride arrived fashionably late and exited the Rolls-Royce in a heavenly, custom made J’Aton gown paired with Christian Louboutin heels. Biviano was attended by five bridesmaids in champagne coloured gowns.
The groom looked particularly suave as he wore a white tuxedo jacket by Tom Ford, with slicked-back hair and Aviator sunglasses. The Sydney Roosters fullback was with best man and fellow footballer Brett Finch and groomsmen Luke Ricketson, Simon Anderson and Martin Colacicco.
Among the throng of high-profile guests were supermodel Kristy Hinze, Leo Sayer, and Channel Nine boss David Gyngell and his presenter wife Leila McKinnon.
Other guests included Jodi Gordon and her rugby league star fiance Braith Anasta and Minichiello’s footballer mates including Mark Gasnier, Michael Crocker and Andrew Johns.
The couple opted for a traditional hour-long service, departing the church to the classic Mendelssohn’s Wedding March. In the order of service booklet, the couple thanked their family and friends for “helping make our dream day come true”. “Each of you hold a special place in our hearts and we are very blessed to have your love and support,” the couple wrote.
The reception was held at luxury Darling Point mansion, Swifts. The newlyweds and guests were spotted boarding luxury Yacht Ghost at Rose Bay Marina for a wedding after party. Guests were all decked in white and the Bride was accompanied by the J’Aton boys who were holding a mysterious garment bag (probably a change of outfit).
The couple expected to depart on a five-star romantic honeymoon to the Maldives.
