The competitive world of fragrances comes together once a year for the annual FiFi Awards. The prestigious black tie event was held this year on June 10th in New York City which included an exquisite dinner, a host of celebrities and of course the award presentation announced by The Fragrance Foundation.
With The Fragrance Foundation’s motto being “to enhance the image of the fragrance industry and expand the appreciation and use of fragrance in all its form” the FiFi awards completes this goal, as the spotlight is shone on this unique industry.
A number of Hollywood and industry celebrities attended the awards including Kim Kardashian, Leelee Sobieski and Usher alongside the leaders from Chanel, Estee Lauder and Christian Dior to name a few.

The winning fragrances in the business
Who took away the coveted awards on the night? Lola by Marc Jacobs and Tom Ford Grey Vetiver won the women’s and men’s luxe category, whilst Bond No.9 filled both the men’s and women’s award for the Nouveau Niche category.
As Couture Couture by Juicy Couture took away the Bath and Body award, esteemed designer Michael Kors received the prestigious Hall of Fame Award for his efforts, creativity and dedication to the fragrance industry. In the celebrity stakes, Usher won the Male Celebrity Fragrance of the Year Award for his range of perfectly stunning and gentlemanly fragrances.

The FiFi awards are like the Oscars of the fragrance industry, and this year’s event was no different in its star studded line up. At the least the awards bring attention to an industry that continues to shower us with an array lust-worthy seasonal fragrances and for that we say thank you!
