The trailer for the film adaptation of The Book Theif has been released, Kanye West has revealed the first picture of North West, and Jason Segel has a new girlfriend.

So poignant was Marcus Zusak’s The Book Theif that it’s hard to believe it’s been seven years since it was released. We’re still a little teary…
Now, we’re getting the Kleenex ready once more as the film adaptation of this favourite is set to be released in the US mid-November and, if the just-released trailer is anything to go by, this is going to be one of those books-to-films that doesn’t disappoint.
The filmic version of this much-loved novel stars Geoffrey Rush and Emily Watson as Hans and Rosa Hubermann – the married couple of who take in 9-year-old Liesel during Nazi Germany. We can already rest assured the Hubermann’s characters are covered with Rush and Watson on board, but truthfully it is Liesel who made the book so special. Thankfully, Sophie Nélisse who plays Liesel in the film, is a very impressive young actress and seems to fill the part perfectly.

North West Picture Revealed
This week we got the first official portrait of Prince George and now another famous baby has been revealed.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter North has been out of the spotlight completely since her birth on June 15th but it seems this week we might finally get the first look.
Kanye took to Kris Jenner’s new talk show this week to talk all thing fatherhood and show off a picture of his daughter. An audience member told E! News, “They didn’t even tell us Kanye was coming on until we were on the set. They only showed it (the photo) for a second. They took everyone’s phones away so no one could snap a picture.”
“She has big cheeks a lighter complexion than Kanye but closer to Kanye’s colour than Kim’s. She has straight black hair and almond eyes just like Kim. She has a round face and is really cute.”
Whether or not the image will actually be displayed when the episode airs is yet to be told, but it should be a good watch either way – sources have said the interview showed a softer side of rapper Kanye – perhaps the side that fatherhood has brought out in him. Stay tuned.
Jason Segel’s Latest Squeeze
Remember when Jason Segel was dating Michelle Williams and it was nothing short of adorable? We miss those days just as much as we’re sure you do but it seems its time we all stopped hoping for a reunion — word is Jason Segel has a new woman.
Life & Style are reporting that Segel and Cameron Diaz have been spotted together in the Hamptons. An eyewitness told the mag, “They were at Nick and Toni’s and seemed to be on a date.” It was later reported that the pair were also shopping at Citarella food market together and drove off together.
Romantic dinners, grocery shopping… sounds like romance to us! But then again, the Bad Teacher co-stars are set to start filming a new movie, Sex Tape, together so perhaps it’s nothing more than two colleagues hanging out. Only time will tell.
