It always feels like far too long between Marian Keyes novels! Back with a new one at last, Marian is as funny as feisty as ever and coming in at over 600 pages, The Brightest Star In The Sky is truly fulfilling.
It is the story of a mixed bag of people living in the different flats of a Dublin apartment building – 66 Star Street. There’s the food-obsessed publicist Katie; the wannabe-celebrity gardener, Fionn; the slightly mad taxi driver, Lydia; and the troubled newlyweds Matt and Maeve. Only Keyes could bring all of these together in a story that will have you laughing, cringing, and ultimately sighing with satisfaction.
The perfect book to enjoy curled up in a comfy armchair with a nice cup of tea. For purchase information, please see the Dymocks Website.
