OK I’ll confess (but only to you)….I am a woman of contradictions….seriously. For example, my bathroom contains products that cost the equivalent of the latest IT handbag and then there are a couple of cheap, dirty little secrets – namely my supermarket-bought cleanser, which pokes its foam dispenser out at me every night.
That is until I met Précision Chanel Rinse-Off Foaming Mousse Cleanser Balance + Anti-Pollution.
The first time I used it was like the time my body first experienced being draped in couture – I knew then that I could never go back to off-the-rack (or the supermarket shelf).
Upon meeting my skin fell utterly in love with this cleanser…put simply, it’s extraordinary – a revolution.
Part of the Précision Chanel range of de-polluting cleansers and toners, each one is tailored to different skin types and needs. The Balance + Anti-Pollution range is perfect for my normal-combination skin.
This anti-pollution treatment contains mallow extract (known for its softening and emollient properties), which compliments the Tulip Tree Extract that those clever little “CC” researchers took from the natural de-pollution techniques of the Tulip Tree, whose leaves capture pollutants thanks to their protective wax (did you know that NYC actually uses this as part of its urban silviculture program??? Ooooh yet another reason to luuurve that city!) Basically, this extract in the cleanser replicates this pollutant-trapping property….genius! Bet you never thought so much went into a cleanser.
It feels like you are cleansing your skin with a moisturiser and you literally only need to use an amount resembling the size of an M&M. It really removes every single micro-trace of make-up (even waterproof and industrial!), impurities, pollutants and grime.
Its texture is the softest ever created and it smells aaaamazing – citrusy, fruity and floral with a base of cyclamen, jasmine and violet.
My skin looked radiant within days and its texture has never had such a beautiful, even, velvety finish (my morning make-up is now a breeze to apply). It feels fresh and perfectly cleansed every night, even when I am dragging my exhausted carcass into the bathroom at the end of the day feeling like something the cat coughed up. My skin is immediately silky and supple….my ½ facelift might’ve just been put off for a few more years.
I feel very indulgent using this product every night….and LOVE IT! I’m totally converted and my cheap supermarket affair is well and truly over. “All hail Kaiser Cleanser”! (yup – I’m convinced Karl Lagerfeld uses it too!)
