Since I moved from Melbourne to Sydney three years ago, my number of bad hair days has doubled. The often-humid Sydney climate has turned my naturally straight hair into a frizzy bird’s nest, which sometimes reminds me of Hermione Granger’s hair in the early Harry Potter days.
