In flight entertainment was given a new meaning yesterday, as the Australian Cast of The Lion King showed off their extraordinary talent on their flight to Brisbane.
Passengers on a Virgin Australia flight from Brisbane to Sydney were treated to a free performance from the Sydney cast of the Lion King musical.
Whilst passengers sat waiting for the last couple of passengers to board the flight, the singers burst into a stunning performance of The Circle of Life, one of the musical’s (and disney animation’s) most famous songs, written by Elton John.
Whilst some of the passengers looked a little confused, the performance ended in a loud round of applause from all on board. We can’t get enough of the viral recording of their performance, and wish we could have seen it live!
