The makeup at Dsquared2’s A/Q Milan show looked “tough”, thanks to MAC’s Feline Eye Kohl

Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on Pinterest

Leading MAC make-up artist Gordon Espinet described the Dsquared2 model as “the Helmet Newton strong woman circa 1982 She’s tough and strong, but beautifully feminine”.

M•A•C products used to create this look:

Eyes:

1. Feline Kohl Power Eye Pencil was used to line the inner rim and outer lash lines to create a dark focal point on the face.

2. Carbon Eye Shadow was blended over Feline with brush 266, elongated in an outward, upward angle.

3. Russian Blue Eye Shadow was blended into the eye socket and over the Feline/Carbon line to create a softened, shadowed shape.

4. Contrast Eye Shadow and Reflects Purple Duo Pigment were brushed onto eyelids with brush 239.

5. Crystal Avalanche Eye Shadow was brushed onto brow bone to finish.

6. Opulash Mascara in Bad, Bad Black was applied to the lashes.

Face:

1. Face and Body Foundation, set with Blot Powder, was used to create a light, transparent, matte finish on the skin.

2. Taupe Powder Blush was used to contour the cheekbone.

Lips:

1. Cherry Lip Pencil was drawn all over the lips.

2 Good to Go Lipstick was layered over the pencil.
