For Missoni’s Milan show, MAC make-up artist Lucia Pieroni had an imaginative vision for the Missoni woman, suggesting: “She’s the wife of a Polygamist who has gone on holiday to Ibiza. She has gorgeous simple skin with a little soft focus colour on the lips”.
How Lucia used MAC Cosmetics to create the Missoni woman:
The eyes:
Lucia gently applied Cream Colour Base in Luna to the lids and in a ‘C’ shape from the brow bone to the cheek bone. Lashes were then curled.
The skin:
- Studio Moisture Tint SPF15 Foundation was used as a base.
- Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder was blended over the face for a matte finish except where the highlights were placed.
- Cream Colour Base in Luna was applied as a highlight down the bridge of the nose.
The lips:
- Cremeblush in Joie de Vivre was patted on to lips with fingers for a soft blurred edge.
- Cremeblush in Optimistic Orange was patted on to the centre of the lip.
- Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder was blended over the lips for a matte finish.
