Finding work/life balance is hard enough without factoring in fashion! We are constantly on the look-out for brands that work for our busy lives. Jodhi Meares new activewear collection The Upside makes the transition from the gym to the street look effortless, and Antipodium’s second ASOS shoe collection works perfectly for day or night. With Breast Cancer Awareness Month just around the corner, Samantha Wills and ‘Mount Franklin’ team up to support the McGrath Foundation.

The Upside by Jodhi Meares
If Jodhi Meares is one thing (and she is many), it is eternally fit and healthy. Whether on the red carpet, or spotted channelling effortless cool on her way to a yoga class, Jodhi treats her body like a temple…and it shows! That’s why we were delighted, but none too surprised to hear about the exclusive launch of her new activewear brand, The Upside at Myer this month.
Designed and developed by Meares, the collection combines the latest high-tech fabrics and techniques to ensure ease of movement and comfort, as well as encapsulating the latest street-style trends.
Jodhi says; ‘I am really excited that The Upside will be available at Myer. The Upside is sure to appeal to Myer customers looking for a stylish alternative to regular activewear, and ideal for those seeking an edgy, fashionable aesthetic.’
The collection includes tanks, camis, jackets, sweats, bras, leggings and rashvests, fashion-forwards options for a range of sporting needs. Increasingly, our active pursuits are blending into the rest of our lives; on the runways, designers like Alexander Wang take sports-luxe trends and transforms it to high fashion. And on the streets, we see women stylishly incorporating elements of their workout attire into their everyday wardrobes.
We love that The Upside has embraced both elements wholeheartedly. There are a pair of leopard leggings that will turn heads both inside and outside the gym, as wear as more utilitarian pieces like the slick black and white sleeveless hoodie pictured, that could easily transition from pool to café, with the addition of some breezy shorts.
The Upside will be available in ten Myer stores nationally: Melbourne City, Chadstone, Sydney City, Bondi, Chatswood, Brisbane City, Carindale, Perth City, Karrinyup and Adelaide City and will be priced from $69.95 to $239.00.

Antipodium x ASOS Shoes
London-based label Antipodium is the go-to brand for the cool Brit fashion pack, spotted on the likes of Alexa Chung, Grimes, Susie Bubble and Pixie Geldof.
This season ASOS Inc. (the designer support initiative from ASOS) is stocking the second footwear collection from the label and we are stocking up our cart already!
Debuting at London Fashion Week in February as part of Antipodium’s Sex, Lies & CCTV collection, the shoes channel the themes of the collection, which explored the politics of surveillance, the thrill of the voyeur, and the rush of being seen.
This signature combination of cheeky pop culture references and luxe fashion translates perfectly in the shoes, which are practically screaming to be worn on a red carpet, or at the very least coveted from across an exclusive club.
There are three styles; the rich velvet Soft Touch peep toe ankle boots, the daring laced-up and cut-out Peephole shoe boots, and the ultra-modern British punk classic: the Climax winkle picker. All styles explore the drama of shadows and spotlights, combining white python, sapphire, and oxblood hues. We love the combination of the sexy cut outs, and the sophistication of the lace up bootie of the Peephole range- ideal for the transition from desk to daiquiri!
The collection is available now exclusively at ASOS with prices ranging from $136- $173.
