Salvatore Ferragamo went 60s Mediterranean holiday on us with a collection of crocheted bikinis, safari jackets and plenty macramé. Designer Massimiliano Giornetti wanted “the vibration of the moment . . .that free-spirited, bohemian attitude.”But the Italian bella can return to the office with confidence, too, with Giornetti’s narrow jackets and slightly flared trousers in spicy shades of biscuit that were refreshingly wearable.
The make-up
Tom Pecheux describes his Salvatore Ferragamo woman as “a woman by the pool on holiday in Capri at a fantastically chic hotel, about to go shopping. She’s tanned and glowing, all in very soft shades of bronze, copper and gold.”
How to get the look:
Eyes:
- Tan Pigment was applied all over the lid and into the inner corners of the eye.
- Shadowy M·A·C Pro Sculpting Powder was swept into the crease with a 224 brush so there are no hard edges.
- Golden Bronze Iridescent Loose Powder was dusted over the whole lid.
- Smolder Eye Kohl was applied in the waterline.
- Lofty Brown Zoom Lash Mascara was used on curled lashes.
Lips:
M·A·C Pro Lip Erase in Dim was patted on to the lips.
Face:
- Studio Moisture Fix SPF 15 was used to prep the skin.
- Studio Sculpt Foundation was buffed in with a 190 brush.
- Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder was applied all over the skin to lightly mattify.
