The lips were a deep red at Mary Katrantzou’s A/W London Show. MAC leading make-up artist Val Garland described the look as “an 18th Century ‘Dangerous Liaisons’ woman right now. It’s a dark, dangerous lip, which gives the face that painterly effect”.
Here are the simple steps to achieve this look with MAC products:
Eyes:
1. Basic Red Pigment was used to wash colour in the socket and fade out for a soft pink tint.
2. Impeccable Brow Pencil in Taupe was drawn on half a brow, from the highpoint of the arch and tapered to the outer edge.
3. Eye Kohl in Fascinating was used to gently rim the lower lids.
Face:
1. Studio Moisture Fix SPF 15 was massaged into the skin.
2. Studio Finish Concealer was applied sparingly.
Lips:
1. Lip Pencil in Cherry was smoothed over the lip as a base coat.
2. Pigment in Basic Red was softly powdered over the lips.
