61 Brides-to-be swarmed Rescu. Culinary Expert and celebrity chef, Luke Mangan’s Glass Brasserie as he launched the new ‘Weddings by Luke Mangan’ packages from his Sydney restaurant.

With ‘inspiration’ the Open Day theme, brides and grooms-to-be enjoyed a complete sensory experience, building their own wedding inspiration boards on the day using Polaroid cameras in the venue and inspirational swatches and materials to attach to a canvas.
All attendees had the opportunity to meet leading celebrity chef and restaurateur Luke Mangan, sampled his wedding cuisine and received precious advice on menu planning.
All attendees to the two hour event pre registered their interest and received an exclusive invitation to attend. On the day, the event was attended by 61 brides plus their partners, friends and family members. Celebrity Chef and Rescu. Expert Luke Mangan was in attendance and wedding planner to the stars, Anthony Del Col who was on hand with his expert advice, together with a selection of the very best suppliers in all things wedding, including the likes of Planet Cake.
The bridal model on the day was ‘Mrs Australia’, Karen Gee, who wore both Alex Perry & Master Slave wedding gowns.
Guests enjoyed canapés – Oysters tempura, Tuna tartare, Lamb in puff pastry with mushroom duxelle and black olive, Flamed mackerel, pickled onion and fennel on toast, Mushroom arancini with parmesan and truffle oil, Mini lemon tart, glass chocolate coins. Yum!
Luke says of the wedding packages, Luke Mangan says, “At glass we make the most of Sydney’s abundant and quality resources, so our emphasis is on fresh, local and seasonal produce prepared using classical French techniques. Brides can expect exceptional seafood and prime cuts of lamb, beef and seasonal produce. It’s all about keeping their menu and flavours clean, fresh and elegant.”
