We’ve seen the trend on the runway – statement jewellery is back. So Rescu. tracked down a great local talent, Anna Hookway, who opened the doors to her new stand-alone store Anna Design, on Military Road in Sydney’s Mosman.

What we love?
Unlike most jewellery stores, there are no uniform glass counters. Anna decided to create a personal touch and ensure constant customer interaction through open draws and personalised notes, which line the store walls.
The inspiration?
One side of the wall is imbedded with colourful circles displaying mementos and inspirations from Anna’s overseas trips to Bali, Hong Kong and China. The East is a major source of inspiration for this talented designer.
When we asked Anna about her favourite piece, she said: “I don’t have a favourite piece as each piece is so individual and has its own personality”.
