We can’t help but get giddy with excitement over a celebrity wedding, but Jennifer Hawkins isn’t giving us much to work with. Hawkins has been super secretive about her upcoming nuptials, but we did get a little insight into her pre-wedding ritual when she was spotted this morning getting a last minute facial in Double Bay.
Although we don’t know much, we do know that the Myer ambassador’s wedding to Jake Wall is right around the corner. Whether or not it will be in Australia is still up for debate with speculators favouring an American ceremony.
With Hawkins strutting like a girl on a mission this morning, and the plans being so perfectly allusive it seems we can expect a wedding that’s planned to perfection. The rest remains a mystery.
Whether or not explosions and CGI are your idea of the ideal movie experience, seeing father/son combo Will and Jaden Smith on screen together once more is undeniably cute. That said, gimicky family casting hasn’t been enough to draw audiences to their latest film, After Earth.
After its opening weekend, the post-apocalyptic film has been labelled a ‘modern day disaster’ and the ‘biggest flop of the summer’. After Earth was expected to pull an impressive $35-$40 million during it’s opening weekend, but instead has only pulled in $27 million.
This is a significant drop for the Will Smith, who’s long been one of hollywood’s golden boys. Men In Black 3, which debuted last year, brought in $54.6 million in its opening weekend and it seemed Smith’s star was set to rise and rise. After Earth is Smith’s worst summer opening in two decades, has he lost his loyal fans or will be seeing him back in a new (and hopefully better) cinematic extravaganza soon.
Miley Cyrus has been getting a lot of attention lately, and not always for the right reasons, so it’s nice to finally hear some exciting news about her music. Miley’s new single We Can’t Stop, was released yesterday, and was apparantly inspired by none other than us, her fans!
With all the scrutiny being put on Miley’s troubled relationship with Liam Hemsworth and her drastic new image (can you believe those pics from V Mag??) it’s comforting that under all that pressure she still has time to be appreciative of her supporters. Miley has poured all her recent energy into the song, tweeting about her late night recording sessions, so we can’t wait to hear what she’s come up with.
