A new event is coming to Sydney and it is bringing with it one seriously impressive lineup of Australian female entrepreneurs.
Aptly named ‘Women on Top’ the one-day event, which kicks off at 9am and closes at 6pm, has been billed as a ‘no fluff and no BS’ zone where women in business, entrepreneurs, leaders, and any woman who wants to take their life to the next level will gather to gain insight and inspiration from the best and participate in a hands-on event that will send you home with an action plan and a head full of ideas.
Founder Samantha Brown says of the event, “We want this to be a real event for real women, not some shiny facade projecting an aspirational too-polished version of what women think they should be. We want women to rock up in their leisure wear, not power suits. It’s all about authenticity and using this to get results. Our aim is for a real, raw, stripped-back and no-nonsense event with a strong focus on education and results.
This is not Women vs Men. It’s about helping women with their own internal barriers. We know women often unintentionally hamper their own paths to the top and we want to help them to avoid that in a world, which has enough external and industry hurdles to contend with. We want them to learn to do this by being women and being themselves, not trying to be more like men.”
